Fabulous Food – Oh, and some art and music too! (Part 2)

Although I thoroughly enjoy art and music, food is my thang. But put the three together and you get one FANTASTIC evening that shouldn’t be missed!

Trolley Tour 2011 is this Thursday folks and if you read my last post you know that the line up of restaurants supporting these amazing artists and galleries has grown to new heights. 13, count em, 13 restaurants and galleries will be dazzling you with some of the best treats for the eyes AND palate in the region!

Let me give you an exclusive “taste” of what you and I will be experiencing on Thursday at just a few of the trolley stops…and be sure to check out my friend Amber at The Ginger Kitchen she’ll give you a preview of some of the others you won’t want to miss:

  • Casa Ristorante – (RatArt) Mushroom Ravioli; Chicken Cacciatore Cannelloni; Chocolate Cheesecake Ravioli; Mini Canoli; Blackberry Sour Cream Cheesecake. Sounds like an amazing italian feast…always a Fort Wayne fav!
  • Calhoun Street – (Lotus Gallery) Antipasto; CS Famous Mac n Cheese; Twice Baked Potatoes; Stuffed Pasta. Comfort food at it’s finest, these folks do it right!
  • Catablu – (Orchard Gallery) Dried Cherry Sugar Pecan Goat Cheese Torte; Beer Cheese with Veggies; Flat Bread with Famous Olive Tapenade; Artichoke Dip and Hummus. One of the finest culinary gems of the region, cuisine at it’s best!
  • Chops – (604 West Wayne Gallery) Menu not available, however sure to be stellar…never a disappointment!
  • Flannigan’s – (1832 Studio and Gallery) Menu not available, but have you seen their restaurant menu? Wow – what a selection!
  • Mad Anthony’s – (Northside Gallery) Killer Spinach/Artichoke Dip; Who doesn’t like Mad Anthony’s? Beer’s galore and eats…just give me a game to watch and it doesn’t get better than that!

So join me as I eat my way through Fort Wayne while enjoying the arts in one of Fort Wayne Art Museum’s most impressive events of the year!
Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art Store or at the Orchard Gallery. $25 for non-members ($26 online) or $20 for
members ($21 online).

    2. The 4:30 pre-party starts at Orchard Gallery.
    3. This one was the hardest to determine so I actually had to call Linda at FWMoA. This year is the 13th year for the Trolley Tour meaning the tours started in 1998.

    Hopefully I’m a winner. I’ve got a friend who would l.o.v.e. these tickets.
